We are seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher to further strengthen our rapidly improving Mathematics department. Last year 61% of our students achieved a grade C or above in Mathematics which was an 18 percentage point improvement on the previous year. Comment was also made by Ofsted (July 2016) about the rapid improvements in Mathematics teaching and the positive attitudes shown by the students.

Applications are invited from outstanding, inspiring and innovative classroom practitioners who will aim to deliver consistently good or outstanding lessons across all year groups and abilities. The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching and learning in Mathematics and can energise, enthuse and engage students to achieve their potential.

Applications are particularly welcome from NQTs and we will provide excellent professional development and ongoing widespread support. Further incentives and support to work in Stoke-on-Trent are available through the Stoke-on-Trent Mathematics Excellence Partnership.
If you are an effective, innovative teacher who is fully committed to raising standards and improving outcomes, we would welcome your application.
