Enjoying The Journey
Our students display a wide range of talents. We offer extensive enrichment opportunities, which include; Sporting Activities, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Music and Drama performances, Public Speaking, Charity Work and Enterprise Activities – the variety is endless. These are all important in helping to develop our students and make them confident, rounded individuals.
Enrichment visits and activities include:
Key Stage 4 Modern Foreign Languages and Art & Design students experienced an amazing cultural visit to study the stunning art and architecture whilst boosting language skills.
A selection of students from different year groups took part in this cultural visit to enhance their language skills.
Year 10 students in Design & Technology reached the national Finals and worked alongside engineering experts using the latest technology to create an innovative ‘smartband’ – to help dementia patients.
Youth Speaks 2015
Working in partnership with Rotary International – a team of students were finalists in the inter-schools competition.
Students showcased their artwork at the SASCAL Conference and an art gallery of achievement in school.
Providing a range of exciting learning activities over two weeks for sixty of our new intake children.
Students joined in the Dance 2015 competition and the Music Festival at the Victoria Hall.
All Schools Programme for Year 7 – Year 11.
Links with Stoke City FC who provide clubs for all year groups.
