Bee Kind

As part of this years entry to KMF’s young engineer of the year, students in year 10 designed and made a product to help bee’s. The students created the BeeKind box.

After a successful pitch to Trentham Garden Centre the students were offered the opportunity to go into Trentham Garden Centre and sell their BeeKind Box within the centre as well as take part in the garden centre’s pre-school activity session in the hopes of raising the profile of bee decline in the UK.

The students started selling the box’s at 10:00 and were sold out by 14:00.

We wish the students the best of luck at the competition final on Friday 16th June.

  1. What a lovely creation and successful business idea. Well done for selling out of your product so quickly and for scooping the presentation prize!
